Democratic Leadership Needed

Iran has prepared a high-level delegation to hold wide-ranging talks
with the US, but the Bush administration is resisting the agenda
suggested by Tehran despite pressure from European allies to engage the
Islamic republic, Iranian politicians have told the Financial Times.

So, why can’t some of our spineless democratic leaders start a shadow government, set up meetings with these people and begin a dialog, so we can get moving on some of these issues?

Even if the democrats fail again to inspire the voters, such an effort would provide valuable experience in dealing with foreign affairs and would put future democratic leaders in contact with the shakers and movers of the world.

And, if it should happen that they get their act together and actually take back the government, they will be in a much better position to deal with world events.

We badly need some leaders who are willing to step up and make a statement and take some bold steps and show us some leadership.

Although I’m in California, I just gave some money to Tom Harkin’s campaign.  Mostly out of frustration due to my own senior Senator’s plodding, timid, spineless, inability to step forward and support Russ Feingold’s censure resolution.

She actually tried to attach one of her pet bills about meth to the Patriot Act.  She apparently saw nothing wrong with using this outrageous attack on our civil liberties to further her own agenda.

It’s just pathetic.

Maybe it’s because those Dems are always getting high. I know of a lobbyist in Santa Barbara who gets high with City Council members. He recently had a DUI charge that just disappeared….I guess they are getting something done afterall.

Democrats only FUCK things up – whatever they touch turns to SHIT; we need LESS of their Maxist stoner “leadership,” not more! Mmm, mmm, mmm!
