Marijuana Found near Bodega Harbour

Posted 10 am, Sunday, Sept 17, 2006 ——— From the Bodega Bay Navigator on-line

Last week several Sonoma County Sheriff’s Deputies eradicated
a marijuana grow site near the entrance to the Bodega Harbour Subdivision. The site concealed in heavy brush adjacent to Cheney Creek had over 300 full-size marijuana plants.

The grow plot was accessed off Highway One just south of South Harbour Way. Deputies uprooted the crop and hauled it away to be destroyed.

Two other smaller grow plots were also destroyed the prior  week. One was off Joy Road and was eradicated by a patrol deputy who came across it while on another assignment. The other with a dozen plants was off Coleman Valley Road. No information was available about how it was discovered.  No arrests were made in any of the three eradications.
